This Thursday, May 31, will be a day of prayer and fasting for OMS Hungary's two 2-week English camps. Orientation Days for the first camp start in less than 30 days. Would you consider joining us?
Please pray for the following:
-For many students to register. At this writing, only 19 are registered for the kids camp and 2 for the teens camp.
-For God to prepare the hearts of the staff, both Hungarian and foreign, to serve at camp and show the love of Jesus.
-For those who are writing the curricula - a monumental task, not yet finished. Pray that the curricula would be effective in teaching English and in pointing young people to God.
-For the logistical details of planning and carrying out the camps.
-For a great harvest!
"Seek the Lord while He may be found; call on him while He is near." Isaiah 55:6

Hi Melanie! I wanted to let you know that we spent some time tonight at Growth Group praying for you and the things you mentioned in this blog posting. Thanks for putting these requests on the site, so we can know how to pray knowledgably about them! We know God's called you there, and that He loves the people of Hungary. Here's some of comments from different folks for you!

Hi Melanie, Just wanted to let you know how encouraged we all are by your service to our Lord Jesus!! It's sooo worth it....to be a part of His gracious work in His love for the souls in Hungary. My prayer is that you experience His love in amazing ways and be encouraged in knowing that we are praying with you and for you. Keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus...for He truly is worthy.
Because of His Grace, Cheri
Melanie, it is always encouraging to hear from you, to know what God is doing in your neck of the woods. Dina and I have been praying for you and we spent some time tonight at growth group lifting up your requests to Jesus. It has been awesome to hear your prayer request and then hear of the amazing ways that the Lord is answering our prayers for you. May you be blessed and encouraged, we are standing with you, I will have to check out your blog.

Melanie, It's awesome to hear you talk honestly about the struggles and triumphs that you are experiencing as you serve God in Hungary. We all are praying for you today in our growth group as you pray and fast and will be praying for you going forward as the camps get underway. God bless your efforts as you faithfully serve Him.

Hi Melanie! I'm glad it's this time of the year and you're busy getting ready to meet the needs of young children. I'm praying that the group will grow, and you will have all that you can handle in your ministry. I think of you often, and want you to know that you're in my thoughts and prayers.
Love, Sandy
Hi Melanie! We joined in the day of prayer for the English summer camps at Growth Group tonight. I'm so glad that we could support you in this way. Jon and I will continue to pray as camp draws closer. May you be blessed and encouraged in all that you do. Know that you're making a difference for His kingdom every day!
By His Grace, Dina
Hi Melanie! I'm new to Grace Fellowship, but am glad to be able to hear of what you are doing in Hungary. I look forward to hearing from you how the youth and children's camps go. I pray that you definately get more interest and can have a fun time sharing the love of Christ with them.

Dear Melanie, as we were praying for you tonight, I could see your sweet face in my mind, and I realized I kind of miss it! I know that you are where the Lord wants you to be, and I pray that you would be experiencing His strength and His power these next few weeks as you prepare for camp. I'm so glad you have a blog now so we can connect with you more often. Please let me/us know of any other prayer needs you have in the coming days/weeks.
Love, Kathie Newby
